Alexander Mohrenberg advises banks, financial institutions, investors and project developers on project financings in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on wind, solar, battery energy storage systems and hydrogen. He brings several years of legislative experience in the energy sector and has a deep understanding of the energy market.

He advises on both domestic and international projects, supporting clients across the full project lifecycle – from development and construction through to operation, refinancing and restructuring. He takes a particular interest in the evolving legal and regulatory framework surrounding hydrogen and follows developments in this area closely.

Before joining Osborne Clarke, Alexander Mohrenberg studied law in Hamburg and Paris. During his legal clerkship, he gained experience at a specialist energy law boutique in Hamburg, in corporate energy teams at an international law firm, and at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
