Recent boom in large-scale solar due to project viability and policy support


Join Josh Taylor and Anna Fouracre in our Planning team as they discuss in Part 1 of our video series some of the recent policy changes and industry support for promoters of large-scale solar projects (over 50 megawatts), in particular around the draft Energy National Policy Statements, and explore whether more could be done by the government to increase project viability. 

Josh and Anna then look ahead to Part 2, which will consider three hot topics (need & speed, agricultural land, and alternatives) and common themes in the UK planning strategy for solar projects.
