Celebrating 2024 International Women's Day
Celebrating 2024 International Women's Day
As part of our international commitment to diversity and inclusion, teams across our global offices celebrated international women's day this year in an effort to widen access to our sector, break down barriers and bring in a strong mix of experiences and viewpoints.
Here are some of the highlights:
#InspireInclusion International event
Later this week we will be joined by a distinguished panel of clients for an event that will explore this year's International Women's Day theme of #InspireInclusion.
Reflecting on their own career journeys and how they continue to advance inclusion in their own organisations, the event will be chaired by Anika Chandra, a Partner in Osborne Clarke's Incentives team, and the panel will comprise of:
- Kate Surala - Compliance Director at PGIM Real Estate,
- Patricia Christias - Assistant General Counsel, UK Head of Legal, Microsoft and
- Huma Allana van Reesch - General Counsel, EMEA at Starbucks.
Supporting charities

In the UK, we are currently taking part in two separate charity initiatives.
- Cycle For Smart Works Challenge, and
- Clothing Drive 2024, with Suited & Booted.
These two charities provide interview-suitable men's and women's clothing as part of their initiative to help vulnerable, unemployed people back into work.
