Osborne Clarke advised Alfa S.r.l. –  manager of the integrated water service in the territory of the Province of Varese – in the ambit of a loan involving the European Investment Bank as lender.

The loan, with an overall value of €75 million, granted within the ambit of the Small-Medium Sized Utilities Programme Loan project, is aimed at the improvement in the efficiency of the hydrological infrastructures and those for the management of waste water in the relevant territory in the period 2022-2026, through a series of projects addressing sustainability, climate action and environmental protection in line with the Paris agreements, and the low carbon emissions targets pursuant to the EIB's Climate Bank Roadmap, initiatives that will also be implemented through the synergies obtained as a result of the establishment, with CAP Holding S.p.A., of a single planning office.

The loan was negotiated on behalf of Alfa S.r.l. by General Manager Michele Falcone, Federico Feltri and Vittorio Pacenza.
