Osborne Clarke advises the banks and leasing companies in Valvosanitaria Bugatti's debt restructuring

Osborne Clarke, with a team led by partner Antonio Fugaldi, with associate Laura Cipollone and trainee Sofia Stefani, advised a pool of banks (Illimity, BNL, AMCO and Intesa Sanpaolo) and leasing companies (Iccrea Banca Impresa, BNL Leasing, Alba Leasing and SG Leasing), in the restructuring of the financial indebtedness of Valvosanitaria Bugatti S.p.A. amounting to approximately Euro 23 million. Silvia Lazzari advised Valvosanitaria Bugatti on legal aspects while financial advisor Michele de Tavonatti advised the company on financial and accounting aspects.

Valvosanitaria Bugatti, a company operating in the plumbing and heating systems market, has, since 1948, specialised in the production of ball valves and brass fittings. All products are manufactured at the production plant in Castegnato (Brescia) and are destined mainly for foreign markets which include more than 80 countries worldwide.

Valvosanitaria Bugatti’s debt restructuring process will be carried out pursuant to article 67, paragraph three, letter c) of the insolvency law, implemented through a so‐called piano attestato di risanamento is aimed, inter alia, at allowing the satisfaction in full of all the financial creditors.
