The Osborne Clarke tax team in the Netherlands has advised the Victory Group on the Dutch tax matters regarding the sale and leaseback of ABN AMRO bank’s headquarters at Gustav Mahlerlaan in Amsterdam. With a deal value of EUR 765 million this is one of the largest single asset transactions in the Netherlands.

The team advised Victory on all Dutch tax matters of the transaction, including structuring, acquisition and financing aspects. The team was led by Job van der Pol with support from Cees Graafland and Aram Hovanesjan.

The Osborne Clarke tax team has a longstanding relationship with Victory, having worked on other landmark transactions including the Atrium complex in Amsterdam, and the New Babylon complex in The Hague.
