Osborne Clarke has advised the AI start-up Pactos on its pre-seed financing round of EUR 2.7 million. The round was led by the High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) with participation from leading figures in the industry and the start-up scene.
Pactos offers an AI-supported platform that brings structure, transparency, and legal certainty to the management of external workers. In a European market worth over EUR 230 billion, assignments are often still managed via Excel and email – slow and risky. Pactos automates contract reviews, manages assignments in real time, documents data in compliance with GDPR, and can be seamlessly integrated into existing IT systems.
The Munich-based start-up has now successfully completed a pre-seed financing round of EUR 2.7 million. The fresh capital is to be invested in new AI functions, team building in the DACH region, and accelerated B2B growth.
"The management of external workers is complex, time-consuming, and full of compliance risks. Pactos digitises the end-to-end process and can become the leading system in a billion-dollar market," said Björn Sykora, Principal HTGF.
The Osborne Clarke team that advised Pactos consisted of Nicolas Gabrysch, Sarah Julia von Bühler and Benedikt Hülsmann (all Corporate / VC).
