Osborne Clarke advises Koa Health on sale to PsychPlus

Published on 8th July 2026

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Koa Health, a multinational digital mental health innovator, on its sale to PsychPlus, a leading US-based provider of psychiatric and therapeutic care. The transaction brings together Koa Health’s clinically validated, digital-first mental health platform with PsychPlus’s rapidly scaling, technology-enabled clinical network to create one of the world’s largest integrated, tech-enabled mental health providers.

Osborne Clarke advised Koa Health, a long-standing client of the firm, across the full transaction lifecycle, drawing on its cross-border M&A capability and deep experience in life sciences and digital health.

The acquisition marks a key strategic milestone for both parties, combining PsychPlus’s rapidly growing US clinical network with Koa Health’s clinically validated, science-backed digital solutions to expand access to personalised, evidence-based mental health support for millions of patients worldwide.

This transaction sits at the intersection of life sciences, digital health and technology-enabled clinical services – areas where Osborne Clarke has long invested and built significant expertise. Supporting Koa Health on its sale to a US buyer illustrates our ability to guide fast-growth, science-led technology businesses through complex cross-border strategic M&A transactions.
