International law firm Osborne Clarke has advised Dovetail Games on its acquisition by Focus Entertainment.

Focus Entertainment has acquired 100% of Railsimulator.com Limited, the parent company of Dovetail Games, alongside its senior management team.

Dovetail Games is a leader in the train sim genre and is renowned for creating immersive and authentic sim-experiences. The studio and its established games will complement Focus' existing line-up and strategy.

The Osborne Clarke team in the UK advising on this deal was led by Partner Mathias Loertscher, with Senior Associate Stuart Miller and Associates Laurence Nelson and April Phillips in Corporate; Partner Mathew Oliver and Associate Director Karmeni Ilg in Tax; Senior Associate Rhiannon Jones in Incentives; and Associate Director James Hunt in Banking. In France, Partner Catherine Olive, Counsel Eve Huchon, and Junior Associate Anthony Chung, all from Corporate, also advised on the deal.
