Osborne Clarke advises an up-and-coming major player in lithium-ion battery recycling on its location into the heart of Europe's battery valley

Osborne Clarke advised BATTRI (company specializing in the recycling of used lithium-ion batteries) on the establishment of its first plant in France, covering an area of approx. 15,000 sq. m., located in Saint Laurent Blangy (62223).
The team was notably involved in the negotiation of the commercial lease and in obtaining the environmental permits applicable to these innovative activities.
This first site will enable BATTRI to establish itself as a key player in lithium-ion battery recycling in France by processing 15,000 tonnes of batteries per year.
