Shivali Sharma

Shivali Sharma is an associate in Osborne Clarke's Commercial team, based in London, United Kingdom. 

Shivali advises clients on a broad range of commercial matters including data protection, AI, commercial contracts, digital regulation, e-commerce and consumer law compliance. Shivali regularly works on multijurisdictional compliance projects and supports clients across our core sectors including the Technology, Media & Communications, Retail & Consumer, and Financial Services sectors. 

Notable experience

Shivali joined Osborne Clarke as a Paralegal in the Commercial team in 2021. After a year off to complete the SQE, she returned as a Trainee Solicitor in 2024 and qualified into our Commercial team in September 2026. 

During her training contract, Shivali spent six months on secondment at a global social media company. Her role in their Ads Data Protection team required her to assist with the full spectrum of privacy matters including drafting core compliance documents, regulatory advice and supporting with responses to requests for information from regulators. 

Credentials and recognition

Shivali is an active member of Osborne Clarke's REACH (Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage) Network Committee. She is the Co-Coordinator of OC REACH's Talent Programme, a scheme which involves partnering with university students from an ethnic minority background to develop a successful legal career. The Talent Programme was nominated for Social Mobility Initiative of the Year at the British Diversity Awards 2026.
