Paula Schouten

Paula is a prospective civil-law notary in the corporate M&A department of Osborne Clarke in Amsterdam.

She is specialized in the notarial aspects of corporate law, particularly mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and refinancing matters, private equity transactions, and other matters of corporate law for national and international clients.

Paula joined Osborne Clarke in October 2025. Before joining the firm, she spent nearly ten years as a prospect civil-law notary at two other firms.

She holds master's degrees in Notarial law and Tax law from VU University in Amsterdam.
Her practice covers the incorporation of legal entities, acquisitions, share issuances and transfers, mergers and demergers, allotment of depositary receipts and establishing (employee) participation plans, share pledges, voluntary liquidations (winding-up) and dissolutions, corporate housekeeping and all related notarial services.
