Jessica Madesclair is a partner at Osborne Clarke and heads the arbitration practice in the firm’s Paris office. She specialises in international arbitration and acts in a wide range of commercial disputes, with particular expertise in the aeronautics, aerospace, and defence sectors, as well as in post-M&A and shareholder disputes.

She also advises multinational companies in arbitration proceedings before the world’s leading arbitral institutions in the healthcare, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. She also represents clients in arbitration-related proceedings before French courts, including issues concerning the constitution of arbitral tribunals, requests for interim or conservatory measures, and the enforcement or annulment of arbitral awards. Alongside her work as counsel, Jessica sits as arbitrator, giving her a strong grasp of tribunal expectations.

Placing her clients' interests at the forefront of every matter, Jessica accompanies them through each stage of their disputes and considers settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods as key tools in achieving optimal results.

Jessica is co-author of Le droit français de l’arbitrage (LGDJ, 2023), a reference work in the field. She publishes widely and is a regular speaker at international conferences on arbitration law.
