Jessica Madesclair is a Partner at Osborne Clarke and heads the arbitration practice in the firm’s Paris office. She specialises in international arbitration and acts in a wide variety of commercial disputes, with particular expertise in the aerospace, aviation and defence sectors, as well as in post-M&A and shareholder disputes.

She advises multinational companies in ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings—whether commercial or investment—before the world’s leading arbitral institutions. She also represents clients in arbitration-related court proceedings, including issues concerning the constitution of arbitral tribunals and the recognition, enforcement or annulment of arbitral awards. Alongside her work as counsel, Jessica frequently sits as arbitrator, giving her a strong grasp of tribunal expectations.

In addition to her recognised expertise in aerospace, aviation and defence, where she regularly advises major industrial players, Jessica is also active in the healthcare, transport and renewable energy sectors. Known for her proactive and responsive approach, she supports clients at every stage of their disputes, designing strategic solutions tailored to their operational objectives and consistently defending their interests.

Jessica is co-author of Le droit français de l’arbitrage (LGDJ, 2023), a reference work in the field. She publishes widely and is a regular speaker at international conferences on arbitration law.
