Fan Yang is a PRC-qualified lawyer with a focus on international commercial and distribution matters in the automotive sector. She assists international and Chinese companies with the design, establishment, maintenance and further development of their distribution systems in Europe.

Fan specialises in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts. She also advises European companies on their business in China.

Fluent in the legal frameworks and business cultures of both Europe and China, Fan helps clients translate cross-border complexity into actionable legal solutions, while also facilitating the alignment between legal and commercial perspectives.

Fan obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the China University of Political Science and Law. She also studied law at Lund University in Sweden. She gained the qualification to work as a lawyer in China in 2017. During her studies and legal internship, she specialised in commercial law and gained international practical experience at a Belgian law firm, a Chinese law firm, as well as an American law firm. 

In addition to her practice, Fan is a PhD researcher at the University of Cologne. She is experienced in presenting at conferences and lectures. She has also been a visiting scholar at several civil courts in the United States.
