Dan advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment related matters, in particular in relation to companies in the technology, media and communications' sector.

As a member of our Employment and Pensions team, his work for clients includes advising on employment tribunals, disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies, TUPE, and employment law issues that arise from corporate transactions. He also drafts and negotiates settlement agreements and principal employment documentation, including employment contracts, HR policies and staff handbooks.

Dan is particularly experienced in advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions (including private equity and venture capital investments, and on the buy and sale side of M&A transactions).

As one of the employment team's data protection specialists, Dan regularly advises on data protection related employment issues, with a particular focus on data subject access requests.

Dan qualified into the Employment team in September 2022, having joined Osborne Clarke as a trainee solicitor in 2020. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
