Conrad Purcell
Conrad is a partner in the Projects, Real Estate and Finance team of Osborne Clarke.
Conrad brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from his 20 year career. He has extensive experience in project finance, with an emphasis on the energy transition sector. He also focuses on infrastructure projects within real estate, construction and planning.
He has worked on an array of projects within the energy sector, including on upstream and midstream oil and gas projects, new energy technologies including wind, solar PV and CSP, hydroelectric, biomass, tidal and energy storage. More recently, he has advised on conventional thermal power, energy infrastructure, and projects in digital infrastructure, mining, health, housing, communications and transport. He also advises funders, sponsors and governments on the financing, development, acquisition and disposal of energy and infrastructure projects.
He brings a unique perspective to his clients, having worked both in-house and in private practice, including at Haynes and Boone LLP and Bird & Bird, which informs his practical and commercial approach to his work.
He leads a senior-led and relationship-driven practice, with deep sector expertise and experience in cross-border and multijurisdictional matters.
