Bas is a senior associate in the Banking and Finance practice of Osborne Clarke in Amsterdam, specialising in debt financing mandates for lenders, borrowers and sponsors.
He advises national and international clients on general corporate financings, real estate loans and leveraged or acquisition finance solutions. His clients include lenders, sponsors and borrowers.
Bas joined Osborne Clarke in May 2025, having previously worked at the banking & finance department of a Dutch law firm focussing on leveraged finance, general corporate lending and real estate finance.
Bas Zandvliet is a young lawyer who has already gained a lot of expertise and is a very valued expert in the field of corporate finance. He will be a leader in the next generation.
Bas studied law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, obtaining a bachelor of law (2013) followed by a master of law in corporate law (2014) and a master of law in financial law (2014). In 2020 he completed a specialisation course in finance and securities law at the Grotius Academie.
