Arthur Hopkinson

Arthur is an associate in the Planning and Environment team, specialising in environment-related planning issues and general environmental compliance.

Arthur acts for a variety of clients within the Energy and Utilities and the Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors. He advises clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious environment and planning matters.

In particular, Arthur advises clients on environment-related planning issues including biodiversity net gain, nutrient and water neutrality issues, environmental impact assessments and environmental statements.

Arthur spent two years undertaking his training contract with Osborne Clarke before qualifying into his current role in 2021.

Given the increasing pressure on clients to decarbonise their businesses, I am enthusiastic in assisting our clients identify opportunities to transition towards more sustainable operations and deliver positive change to the commercial and natural environments in which they operate.
