Adam Prokop

Adam is a lawyer specialising in data protection and artificial intelligence.

He advises Polish and international clients on technology law, data protection compliance, AI-related regulation and broader legal requirements concerning the use of data.

He has many years of experience in designing and implementing data protection governance frameworks, drafting and negotiating contracts, as well as developing policies, procedures and risk assessments in the area of privacy. He has been involved in complex projects and transactions, including those relating to international data transfers, as well as in proceedings and audits conducted by the Polish Data Protection Authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office).

He supports clients from, among others, the banking, technology, e‑commerce and healthcare sectors.

Adam is a law graduate of the University of Wrocław and completed postgraduate studies at the Jagiellonian University in intellectual property law in technology. He is a co‑author of publications on data protection, including the monograph “Artificial intelligence, transfers, liability and other data protection challenges in data protection law” (ABI EXPERT), where he contributed the section on building GDPR‑compliant applications.
