Our in-person "Future of Infrastructure" event returns in September, to consider how change and innovation can support the successful delivery of projects, given the ambitious programme announced by the government. Our Insight explores the nature of the planning reforms envisaged in the government's 10-year infrastructure strategy.

The Council of the EU has now agreed its negotiating mandate on the Commission's proposal, introduced under the Omnibus I package, to reduce the reporting burden for companies imposed by the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. These and other recent developments are discussed in our July ESG Knowledge Update. Our Insight on the UK's approach to voluntary carbon markets considers the effectiveness of recent measures intended to support market integrity.
