Future of Infrastructure 2025

We are excited to be returning to One Birdcage Walk (home to the Institution of Mechanical Engineers) in the heart of Westminster for the Second Osborne Clarke Future of Infrastructure event on 24 September 2025.

The theme of the event will be "Preparing for and Managing Change". Following a series of recent Government announcements resulting in £billions of planned investment, an accelerated delivery programme and substantial private investment opportunities, how has the infrastructure industry reacted in preparing to deliver an ambitious programme of projects?

Change and innovation will be key to successful efficient delivery through financing models, procurement, planning and resources. What can we learn from previous programmes and how will these impact different infrastructure asset classes; social, regeneration, energy, digital and transport? How can existing methods of asset management be improved to meet today's challenges and to manage the hand back of existing legacy PFI?

Our event will include a keynote speech from Richard Threlfall, Global Head of Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare at KPMG and Chair of the Advisory Council of The Infrastructure Forum, Richard will share his insights into the direction of travel of the infrastructure sector drawing on his considerable experience. The keynote speech will be followed by a panel discussion, including questions from the audience, with leading industry participants representing five core infrastructure asset classes: social, regeneration, energy, digital and transport. This will be followed by networking drinks with our speakers and other guests.

We hope you can join us.
