Eating Compliance for Breakfast | Freedom of information act: what businesses need to know
This session will be useful for businesses that contract with or interface with public bodies in the UK, but which are not themselves subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000. It will look at:
- the main principles of FOIA and the (similar) Environmental Information Regulations 2004;
- recent ICO guidance and approaches, and;
- tips and tactics for businesses whose information is held by public bodies or which becomes subject to requests under FOIA or the EIRs.
