Who is Osborne Clarke Brussels looking for?
We are looking for an associate with 1-4 years of experience to join our Commercial team immediately. The ideal candidate will have the relevant experience and be accustomed to handling contractual matters. You will have the opportunity to sharpen your legal skills by supporting our clients in a variety of complex and challenging matters. A great part of what we do is driven by our ability to focus on, understand and get involved in the sectors where our clients do business.
You will work within the Commercial team under the supervision of partners and more senior associates and will support our wide range of clients in the Retail sector. You will be in charge of matters, have direct contact with clients and expand your experience in contractual, advisory and litigation work. You will be part of an international group of lawyers with experts across the major European jurisdictions. You will be challenged, have a range of responsibilities, learn a lot and get a sense of what it means to be a sector-focussed, future-proof lawyer.
We are looking for someone who:
• has experience in commercial (distribution) law or is willing to invest in this area
• is a true team player, with an international mind-set;
• is eager to learn, innovative and dares to think outside the box;
• is fluent in French with excellent English and Dutch;
• has a Master's degree in law with good academic results; an LLM in international business law is a plus;
• has good oral and written communications skills;
• down to earth and is fun to work with.
