Osborne Clarke advised the Berlin-based software company Softr on its USD 2.2 million seed funding round. Leading the round is Atlantic Labs, along with Philipp Moehring (Tiny.VC) and founders from GitHub, SumUp, Zeitgold, EyeEm and Rows.

Berlin-based Softr was founded 2019 by its two Armenian founders, CEO Mariam Hakobyan and CTO Artur Mkrtchyan. Softr is a no-code platform that allows anyone to build websites and web apps based from Airtable. It allows building anything from a simple marketing website to web apps for an e-commerce store, job board, marketplace and more.

Softr plans to expand its customer base with the fresh capital to non-tech functions of small and medium businesses to help them build internal tooling, such as employee directories or product inventories and to automate manual processes.

The Osborne Clarke team which advised Softr was led by Till-Manuel Saur (Corporate/VC) and consisted of Philipp Niedermeyer (both Corporate/VC) and Benjamin Schaum (IT-Law).
