The Amsterdam team of Osborne Clarke has advised New Generation Software Group B.V. (NGSG), a leading Dutch software supplier in the government market, on the sale to Visma. Visma is a European leader in cloud software. Through the acquisition of NGSG, Visma expands its presence in the government sector and becomes a leading provider in GovTech for physical domain in the Netherlands.

NGSG is the parent company of Genetics and Nazca, which companies were brought together by private equity investor IceLake Capital in 2021. Genetics is a Dutch software supplier for the government market. In addition to realising efficiency and cost savings, Genetics' products and solutions support the ongoing digitisation of underlying processes and procedures. Nazca has a solid position in the market of soil infor-mation. Through the years Nazca has built a unique environmental da-tabase, with a national coverage, which is queried with its smart soft-ware. Besides the municipal market Nazca is also active in the semi-government and the real estate sector.
