International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Big Deal Films on an investment from Channel 4 through the broadcaster's Indie Growth Fund portfolio. Set up by Dhanny Joshi and Thomas Stogdon, Big Deal Films is a BAFTA-nominated production company. Initially formed as a talent management company, Big Deal Films has established itself as an exciting new voice in the world of production, with a reputation for creating innovative factual, factual entertainment and scripted content. It has produced work for all of the UK’s major broadcasters – BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV and Sky as well as other organisations, and now has a first-look deal with BBC Studios.
