Michelle Westwood
Michelle is a seasoned executive, with a rich career in essential service organisations, helping them thrive through change and challenge.
She was previously CPO, Executive Director and Board member at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, where she played a transformative role in their culture, financial and workforce operating models.
Prior to that she held progressively senior roles in the Royal Navy in HR and logistics, focused on digital transformation, workforce planning, organisational design, talent management as well as delivering people and logistics services and solutions in high performing teams worldwide.
Michelle is committed to inclusion and wellbeing, having led positive cultural change regarding the lived experience of women in the Royal Navy, resulting in greater representation of women in the Service.
She has a MSc in Strategic HR and Organisational Behaviour, and a PhD by Publication in Ethical Leadership where the focus of her thesis was on the power of feedback and reflection in driving changes in team performance.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
