Joanne Zaaijer

Joanne Zaaijer is a partner within Osborne Clarke’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, based in Amsterdam. She specialises in privacy and data protection law, cybersecurity law and digital regulation, including AI law.  

Joanne advises clients in a practical and focussed manner on a wide array of matters. She has a particular focus on innovative and data-driven business models, including data compliance and governance, cross-border transfers of data, compliance programmes and audits, incident response and regulatory investigations, as well as matters relating to direct marketing, profiling e-commerce and advertising.  

Joanne advises major multinationals across the e-commerce, media and technology, financial services, retail and energy sectors. Her clients include international platform providers, retailers, digital media providers, social media platforms and energy companies.

Joanne holds various memberships, including a membership with the Dutch Privacy Law Association for Attorneys (VPR-A), the Dutch Association for Information Technology and Law (NVvIR), the Dutch Association of Advertising Law and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
