As an Associate in the Commercial Disputes team at Osborne Clarke, James acts for clients across the firm's sectors, including Energy and Utilities, Financial Services, and Tech, Media and Comms.

He has experience of advising on a variety of commercial disputes, primarily on shareholder disputes, corporate and contractual claims. James also has experience of competition and procurement challenges, HMRC and tax disputes, and consumer payment provider disputes.

James joined Osborne Clarke as a trainee in September 2020, qualifying as a solicitor in September 2022. During his training contract, he worked in Osborne Clarke's Corporate and Banking teams.
