Published on 6th March 2026

Welcome to this week's Knowledge Collection

A number of important product regulation developments mean that compliance is becoming increasingly complex for manufacturers. Our experts have contributed to the Sedgwick "State of the Nation 2026 Product safety and recall report, European edition". In it, they explore the impact of converging regulatory frameworks on consumer robotics manufacturers (including rules on product safety and liability, and AI risk governance requirements) and the impact of sustainability rules on the clothing and textiles industry (including extended producer responsibility and green claims).

The first topic of our returning "Eating Compliance for Breakfast" webinar series, starting next week, is how to prepare for the EU's enforcement of the AI Act. Later this month, our experts will look at how businesses can build and maintain an effective risk management framework, and at developments affecting manufacturers in terms of packaging regulation and food law.
