International legal practice Osborne Clarke strengthens its Life Sciences sector group with the arrival of Vladimir Murovec, a regulatory and compliance specialist in the field of Life Sciences & Healthcare as well as other highly regulated industries, such as the food and hardware industries.

Vladimir Murovec, who joins from Simmons & Simmons, has a strong academic background and significant experience in advising medical device and digital health businesses, as well as pharmaceutical and consumer health companies. He advises on a wide range of issues, from R&D, production and the sale of products to regulatory procedures leading to the granting of marketing authorisations and affixing of the CE marking. He has gained expertise in quality management systems (QMS), product distribution and advertising in the EU and frequently assists Life Sciences & Healthcare companies on the digital aspects of their businesses. Vladimir is an ethics & compliance expert, well versed in anti-bribery and anti-gift measures with a cross-border element, and represents Life Sciences & Healthcare organisations and lobbying groups before regulators.

Vladimir is a visiting lecturer at the ESCP Business School in Paris, where he teaches several EU regulatory modules to MSc students in biopharmaceutical management. Vladimir has been noted as a ‘Rising Star’ by The Legal 500 for his work in Healthcare and Life Sciences (2022) and as a ‘Key Lawyer’ for his work in EU Regulatory: Pharma, Medical Device and Biotech (2020, 2021, 2022).
