Osborne Clarke appoints leading restructuring and insolvency lawyer as partner

International legal practice, Osborne Clarke, welcomes Andrew Eaton as UK partner into its Restructuring & Insolvency team.

Eaton was previously Head of both Restructuring & Insolvency and Banking & Finance at Burges Salmon. Prior to that he was a partner at Travers Smith in London. He is an Insol Fellow and advises national and international corporates, including financial institutions, on a wide range of high-value and complex cross-border non-contentious restructurings and formal insolvencies.

Eaton’s recent client matters include the Wasps rugby club administration, Rebel Energy, the Bakers + Baristas CVA, and the sale of Côte Restaurants to Partners Group. 

Osborne Clarke’s Restructuring and Insolvency team has advised on some of the market’s highest profile and most demanding assignments, including NRS Healthcare, Viola Money, Xpress Money, Wirecard, Ted Baker, Peacocks, Wiggle, Grainger & Worrall, and Special Aviation Services.

Osborne Clarke’s Restructuring & Insolvency team has grown significantly over the past few years, including, most recently, the hire of Nick Axup, a partner from Stephenson Harwood, who leads the contentious insolvency practice.
