Osborne Clarke advises ProcureAi on £9.8 million seed round

Published on 17th December 2025

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised London-based startup ProcureAi on raising £9.8 million seed funding.

The funding round was led by global venture capital firm Headline, with participation from C4 Ventures, Futury Capital, and angel investors from the procurement industry.

Founded in 2021 by Konstantin von Bueren and Yves Bauer, ProcureAi pioneers AI-native procurement automation for procurement and supply chain management. Its end-to-end approach is designed to deliver measurable cost savings and operational efficiency by helping businesses optimise spend. Osborne Clarke has advised the company since it incorporated.

The new funding will allow ProcureAi to enhance its AI platform, expand its engineering team and strengthen its go-to-market capabilities, supporting its international growth.

The Osborne Clarke team was led by partner Mathias Loertscher and senior associate Uday Mehra, with the assistance of Andrew Massey and Olivier Jacquelin.

“We appreciated the clear and pragmatic guidance provided by Mathias, Uday and the Osborne Clarke team throughout the funding transaction. Their familiarity with our business and consistent support since our incorporation have been valuable, and we are pleased to continue our partnership as ProcureAi grows.”

“Uday and I were proud to support innovative client ProcureAi in this impressive funding round led by leading investment fund Headline. It has been a pleasure to support Konstantin and Yves from inception of their company and as early adopters of AI-native applications. In an uncertain landscape where procurement is increasingly complex and affected by unpredictable factors such as fluctuating tariffs, ProcureAi’s platform tackles inefficient, fragmented and labour-intensive processes. We are excited to see how they will use this investment to further improve their offering and expand their reach.”
