Jille Kikonga advises companies on matters of AI regulation, IT contracts, data protection and digital compliance. His work focuses on emerging technologies and the legal risks that arise at the interface of innovation, regulatory frameworks and organisational governance.
Jille studied law in Cologne and Paris with a focus on comparative law and international economic law. He obtained his doctorate at the University of Würzburg, with a thesis on the criminal implications of the spreading of disinformation in the context of digitisation. During his legal traineeship, he held positions at the German Foreign Office and RTL Deutschland, among others.
Before joining Osborne Clarke, he gained experience in various legal and research roles at several major international law firms, working in antitrust, litigation, IP/IT and corporate law.
At Osborne Clarke, Jille is part of the international AI Management Board’s Risk & Compliance stream, advising on AI-related risks, legal accountability and compliance strategy. He is particularly interested in the regulatory and normative challenges of cross-border technology governance. In parallel, he will begin a degree in computer science and applied artificial intelligence in September 2025, complementing his legal expertise with technical insight into digital systems and AI technologies.
Helping you succeed in tomorrow's world
In a world shaped by rapid technological change, a deep understanding of both legal and technical systems is essential. I combine legal expertise with a strong curiosity for how technology shapes law and society. My focus on AI governance and digital compliance allows me to help clients navigate complexity with clarity and foresight. Starting a computer science degree in applied AI further strengthens the bridge I aim to build between law and technology.
