Dave Kerr

Having joined Osborne Clarke as a trainee back in 2009, Dave was promoted to Partner in the firm's real estate team in 2019. Dave's primary focus is on residential development, commercial investment and energy projects.

Within the residential development space, Dave acts for several national housebuilders advising on immediate land acquisition and land promoters on strategic land. He also advises property investors in their acquisition, asset management and disposal of investment property across all asset classes.

Dave has significant experience across a range of energy projects: from the more traditional technologies such as wind and solar to emerging technologies like battery storage. He has advised both developers and investors on the acquisition of several developments whether that be as a set of project rights or built out and operating projects.

I am passionate about decarbonisation and with my cross over between real estate and energy, am well placed to help traditional real estate businesses help achieve their net zero goals. My main area of focus is supporting the use of renewable technologies within new large-scale developments.
