Osborne Clarke Belgium is looking for a summer intern to join its Business Development, Marketing & Communications team for 6-8 weeks this summer. The role is based in our Brussels office with minimum of 3 consecutive days/week with the possibility of 5 days/week. The ideal candidate is currently an undergraduate or Master's student with excellent English. Native Dutch or French is a plus but not essential. This position is remunerated.
Your responsibilities would include:
Communication and Marketing:
- Supporting the coordination and preparation of events: webinars/conferences (drafting emails, preparing presentation materials), internal events
- Updating external communications: lawyer biographies and photos, firm's updates and awards, press materials
- Content creation for the firm's social media presence (LinkedIn) and recording analytics
- Monitoring and updating the intranet (content creation; links to useful information; etc.)
Business Development:
- Drafting pitches and responses to client/prospect requests for proposals
- Supporting legal directory submissions (Chambers, Legal 500, etc.) in collaboration with the BD&M team and lawyers:
- Updating marketing materials and tailoring international materials to the Belgian market
- Targeted market research
- Updating our record of work experiences (credentials)
- Monitoring events with our partner organisations
