Osborne Clarke is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Chantelat as Director of Strategy and Business Development, supporting the firm’s next phase of growth and strategic development in France.
For the past 13 years, Osborne Clarke’s Paris office has experienced sustained and dynamic growth and today comprises more than 100 lawyers, including 20 partners. The firm continues to pursue ambitious growth objectives, both in France and internationally. Osborne Clarke’s strategy places a strong emphasis on innovation, supported by significant investment in talent and technology, particularly artificial intelligence, reflecting the firm’s modern and entrepreneurial approach.
Working closely with the partners, Caroline will lead the development and execution of the firm’s strategic initiatives across its core practice areas, further strengthening the positioning of its service offering to enhance client value while supporting the firm’s performance and brand profile.
With more than 20 years of experience in the legal sector, Caroline will lead a dedicated team and oversee the firm’s business development initiatives, supporting lawyers across the Paris office as they respond to the economic and technological changes reshaping the legal profession.
Throughout her career, Caroline has built a recognised expertise within both international and French law firms, where she has led business development and communications strategies, managed transformation projects, and driven the implementation of digital initiatives.
Her appointment represents an important strategic step for Osborne Clarke in France and further strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver value to clients across its key areas of expertise.
Biography
Caroline holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Nancy II and graduated from NEOMA Business School. She also passed the entrance examination to the French Bar School (CRFPA – University Paris II Panthéon-Assas).
Before joining Osborne Clarke, Caroline spent eight years in the Business Development & Marketing team at Latham & Watkins in Paris, followed by eight years as Director of Business Development & Communications at LPA Law.
