Chris is an Associate Director in our Regulatory Disputes team. He specialises in regulatory compliance and risk, particularly in the fields of business crime and public procurement.

Businesses come to Chris for assistance with compliance issues, including both pro-active compliant culture development and reactive investigation and mitigation when concerns arise. Chris has assisted clients in rolling out worldwide policies and procedures, advised in relation to allegations of bribery and corruption in multiple jurisdictions, undertaken investigations for clients both within the UK and on-the-ground in various other jurisdictions, and advised clients in relation to alleged fraud and ethical breaches by senior management. Chris also advises on ethical and business crime risks and mitigation in the context of M&A, and corporate compliance with the Modern Slavery Act.

Chris co-leads the OC Global Compliance team. He advises businesses on a holistic approach to compliance to help them develop and maintain a strong compliance culture. The Global Compliance team's work includes conducting system reviews and gap analysis, risk assessments, and audits to support businesses in adopting an efficient and effective approach to compliance in their organisation, based upon practical policies, procedures and structures. The team also assists clients in meeting external compliance standards. Chris is qualified as an auditor for the Global Network Initiative.
