Chris is a Partner in our corporate practice and head of the firm’s Advertising, Marketing and Strategic Comms Services team, which is part of our Tech, Media and Comms sector group.

He specialises in advising mainly independent agencies in the advertising, media, interactive games and technology markets, and handles mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, corporate joint ventures, company start-ups and employee incentive arrangements. Having joined Osborne Clarke in 1995, Chris has been a Partner since 2006. He has helped develop our advertising and marketing practice, a multidisciplinary team of lawyers working across our corporate, commercial and employment practices and dedicated to servicing the sector in the UK and around the world. The team has been consistently recommended in both of the leading legal directories, Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500, and has been a strong feature of the firm for more than thirty years. With more than a decade’s experience in his field, Chris offers a breadth of expertise and knowledge to his clients, having worked alongside many of the leading players in the industry and developed creative solutions to deal with a raft of issues as they have arisen. He takes a commercial and pragmatic approach to protecting his clients’ interests and prefers to avoid getting bogged down in legalese by focusing instead on finding solutions that work in practice.
