Caroline Saul

Caroline's career has focussed on project finance transactions since 2004, particularly in respect of energy and infrastructure projects.

She advises a range of lenders and sponsors on various structures and projects, including solar, wind (onshore and offshore), AD, battery storage and gas peakers in the energy sector, as well as energy efficiency and student accommodation projects in the infrastructure sector, utilising commercial debt, private placements, bond financings and holdco financings.

Caroline's wealth of experience in the financing of renewable and sustainable energy transactions across a range of technologies means that she is perfectly placed to lead our "Funding the transition to a low carbon future" stream within our wider Decarbonisation Transformation Driver.  Heading up a team focussing on investment, throughout the capital cycle, in new and established technologies that will steer us towards net zero, Caroline is committed to unlocking financing structures that will attract private sector investment, as well as understanding ESG drivers and regulation that will incentivise and accelerate such investment.
