In Italy Osborne Clarke has introduced a maternity bonus for female professionals returning to work at the end of their maternity leave. The bonus is aimed at covering nursery or baby-sitting expenses for a period of twelve months. For new fathers, a period of fifteen days' paid leave has now been introduced.

Federica Greggio, Partner and ESG Champion for the Social area of Osborne Clarke in Italy: "Our commitment to people is an ongoing and ambitious project. We guarantee all our professionals flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely. In addition, we organise multiple training and counselling initiatives to support them in their growth and to promote an inclusive culture".

Riccardo Roversi, Managing Partner and ESG Champion for Osborne Clarke's Governance area in Italy adds: "Women represent half of our professional staff, they hold 24% of the top positions and our analysis conducted on an annual basis on pay inequality confirms that there is no gender pay gap between our associates.
