Sebastian advises clients on all aspects of German and European competition law and merger control.

He represents and advises clients in merger control, cartel and abuse of dominance proceedings before the European Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office and before courts. He also advises on compliance matters and the design of contracts and distribution systems, including internet distribution.

He regularly publishes articles on competition/antitrust law issues. Sebastian has particular sector specific expertise in financial services/banks, retail, agricultural, chemical and commodity trading and infrastructure.

After his studies in Cologne (Dr. jur.), Pittsburgh, New York and London (LL.M.) and his legal training (including stages at the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission), he began his career in the competition group of an international law firm in the Düsseldorf office (with further stages in London and Brussels) in 2013. He joined Osborne Clarke in 2016.
