BASIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinating the work of the local finance team and external firms providing accounting and payroll services for the law firm.
  • Responsible for preparing current financial reports and analyses in accordance with corporate requirements and local accounting and tax regulations.
  • Support in the implementation of the new firm management system (practice management system) - Elite 3E. Collaborating with the implementation team, advisors, and system provider. Coordinating the data migration process from the current system.
  • Financial control of the law firm. Analyzing and reporting on key areas of performance and deviations from the budget.
  • Collaboration with the auditor.
  • Preparation of the annual budget in accordance with corporate requirements.
  • Supervision of the invoicing process and debt collection.
  • Resolving current issues and improving key processes in the area of the law firm's finances.
  • Ongoing collaboration with Osborne Clarke offices in other countries. Reporting to the managing partner of the Warsaw office and the corporate Finance Director in the United Kingdom.

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

  • Practical knowledge in the areas of accounting, cost management and control, budgeting, financial planning and risk management, financial reporting, and economic-financial analysis.
  • 5 years of professional experience in an independent position within a finance team.
  • Higher education in relevant fields, preferably in accounting, finance, or controlling.
  • Experience in change management and implementation of financial systems.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of Excel.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, commitment, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proactivity and assertiveness.
  • Collaborative attitude, professional, and flexible approach to tasks.
  • Experience working in an international environment is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the Elite Enterprise or 3E system is a plus.
  • Experience in a law firm or advisory firm would be an additional advantage.
