Osborne Clarke has advised real estate portal operator Scout24 on its acquisition of software company Sprengnetter.

With its digital marketplace ImmoScout24, the German digital company Scout24 has been bringing together owners, agents as well as tenants and buyers of residential and commercial properties for around 25 years. With over 19 million users per month on the website or in the app, ImmoScout24 is thus the market leader for digital real estate marketing and search in Germany. In order to simplify the complex processes of real estate transactions, ImmoScout24 is continuously developing new digital products and services for seekers, home owners as well as for private and professional customers.

In line with this strategy, the company has now signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the Sprengnetter Group in order to integrate the products of the software company from Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, which specialises in property valuations, into the ImmoScout24 ecosystem. In future, this should enable all parties involved to make greater use of independent valuation data for real estate properties.
