Child Safety Spotlight: Navigating new online safety legislation

Osborne Clarke and Mason Hayes Curran will jointly host a seminar on online child safety, with an online safety policy specialist guest speaker from Ofcom (regulator for the UK Online Safety Act).

The seminar will focus on the new regulatory regimes introduced to safeguard children in the digital world. 

Arrive 8.30am for registration and breakfast for a 9.00am start. The event will include: 

• An introduction to the UK Online Safety Act
• An introduction to the Irish Online Safety and Media Regulation Act 2022 and the EU Digital Services Act
• A specialist online safety policy guest speaker from Ofcom
• Panel discussion: What the child safety obligations mean in practice

With the Ofcom Protection of Children consultation process set to kick off in May, this will be an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insights and network with industry professionals who share a common interest in online child safety.
