Casper is an associate in our Real Estate and Infrastructure department.

He specialises in the civil and public law aspects of real estate. Casper attended the University of Groningen and was admitted to the Dutch Bar Association in February 2013. Before joining Osborne Clarke he started his career at a law firm gaining a broad expertise in real estate and property law. Casper has a background in advising, litigation, arbitration and transactions representing a wide range of players in the real estate market.

Casper has provided legal services regarding:

sale and purchase of office buildings, shopping centres, hotels and residential premises (portfolio sale);
development projects including public law aspects;
redevelopment, renovation and sustainability of real estate;
letting and leasing of commercial and retail premises, and residential dwellings.

Casper focuses both on civil law (e.g. sale and purchase, lease and buildings contracts) and public law matters (e.g. zoning plans, building regulations, spatial planning and municipal regulations) which creates a great benefit in advice and litigation in real estate matters.
