Podcast | The Future of FRAND

Published on 13th Nov 2020

Following success in the UK Supreme Court earlier this year, Osborne Clarke’s Arty Rajendra discusses the impact of the judgment on FRAND licensing disputes and deals for Intellectual Property Magazine's 'Future of FRAND' podcast.

The 12 minute podcast also features Powell Gilbert’s Tess Waldron.  These two leading IP litigation lawyers ‘cordially’ faced off in the Unwired Planet Intl Ltd & Anor v Huawei Technologies case in August 2020.

The Supreme Court ruling in favour of Unwired Planet has significant ramifications for the licensing of patented technology to equipment makers using telecommunication networks, something which is only going to increase as 5G connectivity improves.

This podcast is number ten in IP Magazine's series which has now gone monthly.  They feature a plethora of engaging topics with leading IP professionals on each show.
