Hines, a global real estate investment, development and management company, on behalf of its core-plus fund Hines European Property Partners (HEPP) has completed the investment in a 40,000 sqm logistics asset located in Savona through a Fund established and managed by Colliers Global Investors Italy SGR. This is HEPP's first investment in Italy. The asset, fully leased as a logistics hub to Conad Nord Ovest, a leading company in the associated distribution sector, is located on land just outside the container terminal in Savona.

Osborne Clarke assisted Hines in the due diligence and financial structuring phase as well as in all the negotiation and contractual aspects of the financial documents signed with BPER Banca S.p.A., as financing bank. The multi-disciplinary team was led by partner and Head of Financial Services in Italy, Andrea Pinto, assisted by associate Rocco De Nicola, and trainees Francesco Fallara and Bianca Tomassetti, for financial law profiles, and Associate Roberto Salis, for real estate law profiles strictly related to the financing and collateral.
