Dr Flemming Moos is head of the Data Privacy Service Line at Osborne Clarke and advises companies on all issues relating to the use and protection of data.
Flemming specializes in data protection law and has been advising and defending companies in all matters relating to data for more than 20 years.
Flemming's advisory spectrum covers the entire range of data protection law; e.g. data protection-compliant implementation of digital transformation projects including smart data and AI projects, structuring and securing international data flows, drafting and negotiating data protection-related contracts of all kinds and dealing with data protection crisis situations such as data breaches or cyber incidents. He is also frequently involved in investigations by data protection supervisory authorities and represents clients in order and fine proceedings. Another focus of his work is litigation in data protection; mostly in defence against claims for injunctive relief and damages.

Wirtschaftswoche 2023 categorises him as one of the most renowned lawyers for data protection law. In the first-ever Legal Allstars award by Wirtschaftswoche in cooperation with the Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) 2021, Flemming Moos took 1st place in the field of data protection law.
Flemming is co-editor and co-author of the "Praxishandbuch DSGVO", editor of the model contract manual "Datenschutz und Datennutzung" (Data Protection and Data Use) and co-author of several leading GDPR commentaries as well as author of numerous essays, expert contributions and judgement notes on data protection law. He regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on current issues in his field of work.
He was admitted to the bar in 2001; in 2006 he was awarded the title of "Fachanwalt für Informationstechnologierecht" (specialist lawyer for information technology law).
