By signing the charter the company commits itself to create a working environment that is free of prejudice. Thereby all employees should receive the same recognition, regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, physical ability and age.

Carsten Schneider, Managing Partner of Osborne Clarke in Germany: “Diversity enriches our society. We are not only part of the society as a company, but also as Partners and employees. Therefore it is important for us to have a rich mix of people. We are glad to have an active diversity at OC”, explains Carsten Schneider.

The “Diversity Charter” was founded in 2006 and fights for diversity management. The Federal German Government supports the initiative and Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel is the Patron. The charter is a fundamental commitment to diversity, tolerance, fairness and employee appreciation in a workplace free of prejudice. Companies fulfil an exemplary role. More than 2000 companies have already become members.
